I don't commute to work. It's been a year now since I started working from home full-time. After a lifetime of commuting to work -- 28 years of which took me to The Sacramento Bee or The Bee's Capitol bureau -- I've found it hard to adjust to working from home. In fact, I haven't really adjusted. I still pine for those long rides on the bus and light rail that afforded me that valuable time to read and relax.
In memory of my previous lifetime as a "
