For a brief few minutes this afternoon, the sun came out, and I hurried about my yard taking advantage of the light.




We've been battling an aphid infestation of biblical proportions. The Wife won't let me use hazardous wastes on the bushes. But at least she has admitted that her home remedy -- to spray diluted mouth wash on the plants -- doesn't work on an infestation this overwhelming. Right now we're trying one of the "organic" sprays, but when that bottle runs out I'm looking for something with a more powerful kick.
