Odds and ends and really odd ends

It was the shadow that caught my attention. The Wife planted this lone flower between the porch and the walkway to the house.

Plants are "dusty." I keep telling The Wife, "Dusty is the natural state. Turn off that vacuum cleaner. I can't hear myself think."

Simple pleasures. I love the sharp focus -- so sharp it reveals individual strands of spider webs -- and the deep green haze of the background.

This is the before photo . . .

. . . and this is the after. In a previous life I suspect I painted porcelain by hand.

Very odd end, indeed.
