I took the photo of this flower on my deck and then looked at it on the computer. I had to go back out to the deck and pick a flower in order to attempt to "fix" what the camera had done to the color.

This is too red . . .

. . . and this too pink. I just couldn't find the right combination of filters and level adjustments that would re-create the flower. It was all very frustrating.

And that is why I felt compelled to toss in something guaranteed to succeed: A Cat.

And, better yet, a closeup of the cat's green eyes.
